How it works

The workflow is the same for every project — from pre-opening package to ad-hoc hour. Only the duration and depth differ.

    Scoping call — free, 30 min

    On Meet or by phone. We discuss the situation, goals, rough budget and what you've already tried. At the end we honestly tell you whether we're the right fit or refer you elsewhere.

  2. 02

    Written proposal + fixed quote

    Within 3–5 working days we send the proposal: scope, deliverables, timeline, firm price. No end-of-project surprises. If anything doesn't fit, we adjust before signing.

  3. 03

    Contract + NDA (when applicable)

    We sign electronically (DocuSign / Adobe Sign) or on paper, your choice. We bill 50% upfront, 50% at completion. For retainer: monthly billing.

  4. 04

    Execution — work in the trenches

    This is the actual work: on-site visits, interviews, analysis, SOP writing, recruitment. Communication on a dedicated channel (Slack or WhatsApp group), weekly updates.

  5. 05

    Final report + follow-up

    For audits and packages: written report + 1–2h presentation session with management. For recruitment: candidate hired and onboarded. Free 30-day follow-up for implementation questions.

Frequently asked questions

What does „accredited in employment mediation” mean?+

It means an official authorization to mediate labour on the Romanian market, under Law 76/2002 (on unemployment insurance and stimulating employment). In practice: we can sign mediation service contracts with employers, invoice for the activity, and we operate within the legal frame supervised by ITM / ANOFM. The accreditation is held by S.C. Personal Horeca Evenimente S.R.L. (tax ID RO42139315).

What's the difference between the two services you offer?+

Executive search answers „I need a restaurant manager / executive chef / head bartender” — we run active search for that role. Targeted expertise answers „I need someone senior to concretely help on one area (kitchen / restaurant + bar / cocktail menu concept)” — we send an expert who joins the project ad-hoc and ships a concrete deliverable. Both have clear scope; we combine them only if the brief calls for it.

Do you do full pre-opening packages, operational audits or monthly HR retainers?+

No. We stick to the two services we do well. For full venue opening (org charts, SOPs, ANSVSA + DSP + ISU compliance, full setup) or extended operational audit or monthly HR retainer, we recommend specialized partners. At the scoping call we'll be honest about whether we fit or refer you elsewhere.

How long does a targeted-expertise project last?+

Variable, depending on how clear your brief is and how complex the area (new menu concept vs adjusting an existing one). Typically capped at one month from contract signing to final deliverable. For very clear briefs, 1–2 weeks. For new concepts with multiple iterations, up to 4 weeks. We confirm the timeline at the scoping call.

How long does executive search take?+

Typically 4–10 weeks from brief to the candidate's employment contract. Variability depends on role rarity (a senior fine-dining executive chef takes longer than a casual restaurant manager). At the scoping call we estimate the timeline honestly based on your brief.

How do you bill? Can I pay in instalments?+

Billing with VAT (19%), ANAF e-Factura, bank transfer. For targeted-expertise projects: 50% upfront on signing, 50% on delivery. For executive search: structure is part of the proposal — discussed at the scoping call after the brief. Exact pricing for both services is confirmed per-client; we don't publish a generic grid because it depends on complexity.

Will you sign an NDA before we discuss the concept?+

Yes, no problem. We have a standard mutual (bilateral) NDA template we sign before any technical document. If you have your own template, we'll review it within 24–48h.

Do you guarantee results?+

We guarantee the deliverables (hired candidate, finalized menu, brigade structure, operational plan, cocktail book) and their professional quality. We don't guarantee business outcomes (e.g. „revenue will grow 30%”) — those depend on implementation. Specific guarantee: for executive search, free replacement if the candidate leaves in the first 90 days.

Do you work outside Bucharest?+

Yes. On-location at no travel charge in Bucharest + Constanța. For other cities: 1–2 visits included in the project (transport + lodging billed separately at cost), the rest remote on Google Meet. We've delivered projects in Cluj-Napoca, Brașov, Timișoara, Iași, Mamaia.

What happens if I'm not satisfied with the delivery?+

We raise it in the weekly call, before it becomes an end-of-project issue. If you're still dissatisfied at delivery: we revise the deliverable for free until it's right (within the original scope agreed at brief). For extreme cases: partial refund (the upfront) and amicable close. The policy is written into the contract.
